Everknights #03 (PDF)
[019]
$2.95

From the four corners of Garweeze Wurld the gawds brought together the finest warriors to battle evil (for a price). One fighter, one thief, one cleric, one wizard and one dwarf to assume the mantle of good so that no one would suffer under the tyranny of evil (if they could afford it)! A group of heroes who would fight for the cause of justice if they were getting paid a great deal of money! These are the Everknights!

Last Issue: The Everknights stumbled upon magic items that could trap spirits and freed Skraag from the control of his evil, dead brotherís spirit. Lefty III was forced into giving up a portion of his treasure, thereby putting him in debt to the mysterious thieves guild that trained him. Leftina returned home. Kevlar uncovered a ďSpirit EngineĒ that could convert spirit energy into magic. Kevlar and Lefty overloaded the engine, summoning its demonic owner in the form of Leftyís old teddy bear. Skraag was forced to reabsorb the spirit of his evil brother to save the others. Now the dark sigil of the South Paw guild has appeared on Lefty IIIís forehead and his fate is sealed...or is it?

Flingin' Feces with the Art Monkey

This issue marks a significant event in EverKnight history, as well as in my own meager career. It finally ties up a lot of loose ends that have been around since HackMasters of EverKnight #1, and brings the characters back to solid ground, in the capable hands of Mr. Tony DiGerolamo. I want to thank him for all the help in getting the gang to this point, and I look forward to his story telling from here on out, unburdened by the past. For me, it was hard letting go, as Iím sure Tony could attest to, but we worked together to make it all work out for the best. I feel this very issue is one of the best I have been a part of, but with every new issue I feel we keep getting more in sync, and in turn, the stories continue to improve. I hope you all agree. So without further delay, letís get on with the show.
