As for the previous HackMaster 4th edition, our license
agreement with Wizards of the Coast has ended. This means that certain
rulebooks (those that used licensed material from AD&D products
once published by TSR) are now unavailable from our web store. But
don't worry - many are still circulating in your local and online game
stores, including Amazon.com! Of course, you can still purchase
other, non-licensed HackMaster 4th edition products here (just

Quite simply, HackMaster 4th edition is a
fantasy role-playing game with an edge, that was licensed from the
hallowed Advanced Dungeons & Dragons core rules. And even
though we took a wrecking crane and a crowbar to those rules, we
certainly didn't take the opportunity to alter the rules lightly.
